When a client approaches me for an initial e-commerce implementation or a total overhaul and replatform of their current system, I educate them on why Magento Community may be a more cost-effective way to build an enterprise-level site without the enterprise-level costs. Magento Enterprise, which functions as a robust e-commerce solution for many larger businesses, might just be overkill for your company. It’s truly a case-by-case consideration.
Magento Enterprise does offer some features above and beyond their Community Edition software, such as customer segmentation and private sales. But for your money, is that functionality worth a $250-500k Magento Enterprise implementation cost, versus the $35-150k you would spend building a Magento Community site? Has your business matured to that level?
ORLANDO, FLA. (March 25, 2015) — Orlando-based agencies BMDM and Technetium have joined forces to provide clients with more services that improve targeting and personalization. The business will continue operating under the BMDM brand out of its office in Orlando’s creative mecca, the Mills 50 district.
With Technetium’s development team joining BMDM, the agency is now 14 employees strong, making it one of Orlando’s largest marketing agencies.
It’s been a long while since my last post. I remember sitting down in July and writing about the Orlando City Soccer Club. At that time I was just embarking on a journey with no real course. I didn’t know what to expect or where to go with it. These past six months have brought on massive changes in my life.
During this transitional period, the rebirth of music in my life has truly assisted me and guided me to get to where I am today. I’ve jumped back into my musical roots and it’s been amazingly therapeutic. The only way I can summarize the past six months is to reference Tesla’s song Changes, from Mechanical Resonance. The chorus pretty much sums it up.
